Our Team
Currently Blackburn Daniels O'Barr employs the most engineers in the history of our business. Our staff includes three professional engineers with more than 50 cumulative years of experience, as well as a graduate structural engineer (engineering intern "E.I.") pursuing professional registration. Our engineers are registered in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Louisiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Mississippi, Ohio and Virginia.
Lynn D. Blackburn Jr., P.E., Senior Associate
Lynn received his bachelor degree in civil engineering at Auburn University in 1964 and masters of science at Auburn University in 1966. While at Auburn, Lynn was a member of Chi Epsilon Engineering Honors Society as well as a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honors Fraternity.
Joslyn B. Daniels, E.I., Principal
Joslyn received her bachelor degree in civil engineering at Auburn University in 2002 and masters of science degree in structural engineering at Auburn University in August of 2005. While at Auburn, Joslyn was a member of Chi Epsilon Engineering Honors Society.
Jack W. Daniels Jr., P.E. , Principal
Jack received his bachelor degree in civil engineering at Auburn University in 2002 and masters of science degree in structural engineering at Auburn University in May of 2005. While at Auburn, Jack was a member of Chi Epsilon Engineering Honors Society and a Student Government Association Engineering Senator. He joined Blackburn & Associates in 2005.
R. Mark O'Barr, P.E., Principal
Mark received his bachelor degree in electrical engineering at Auburn University in 1987 and masters of science degree at Auburn University in 1989. While at Auburn, Mark was a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honors Fraternity, Sigma Pi Sigma Physics Honors Society, and Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society. Mark was also a member of the Pi Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society. In 1998, Mark returned to Auburn and acquired coursework in structural engineering.
