This project consisted of renovating the existing Pharmacy building at Auburn University and adding on to it a new addition. The addition was a steel structure with open web steel joists and beams and the roof structure was steel as well. This 440,202 square foot $87 million dollar facility consists of a gym, classroom building, agri-shop building, auditorium, stadium, field houses and office space. Different structural systems were used on the various buildings to suit each structure best. The Gymnasium portion consisted of 50,000 square feet and will hold 1600 spectators, it is a steel structure. The classroom building is a three story composite steel structure.

Renaissance Hotel Montgomery, AL
This $145 million dollar project consists of a 347 room 4-star hotel, an 1,800 seat auditorium (Montgomery Performing Arts Center), 14,000 square foot ballroom with meeting spaces, 70,000 square feet of exhibit/ convention space, and a 650-car parking deck. The 12 story hotel is a post tensioned concrete flat slab. The auditorium is a steel structure and the parking deck is a pre-stressed concrete structure.

Montgomery Housing Authority Smiley Court Observations
This project consisted of the structural evaluation of 99 housing units in the Smiley Court complex located in Montgomery, Alabama. A through observation of each building was made, and those observations, i.e. cracks, deflections, etc. were recorded for the owner to be able to assess the structural condition of each building. At the end of the project a bound report was provided to the owner with recommendations as to the best methods of repair and/or rehabilitation for each condition and building.

The new Allied Health and Nursing Building is approximately 188,000 square feet. The program includes faculty offices, a variety of dry and wet laboratories, classrooms, exam and observation rooms, public clinical space and a variety of support spaces. This $20 million dollar new sanctuary and classroom facility consists of a 60 foot clerestory in the sanctuary that has rigid moment frames and gluelam rafters and purlins. Also, this project includes a concrete and steel frame 100 foot bell tower.

This eight story building consists of new offices for the RSA. The building is a cast in place concrete building with post tensioned beams and girders. The approximate cost of the project is $100 million dollars. Also, included in this project is a 76 foot clear steel construction Atrium space that serves as a connector from the parking garage to the building.

This project consists of several buildings including storage facilities, shop buildings, a parachute tower, and an operations and training building. These buildings encompass several structural systems some of which include concrete walls, load-bearing CMU, steel framing, wood construction, and concrete over composite steel deck supported by steel beams and columns. The cost of this project is approximately $12.5 million.

Troy University Multi Sports Complex
Troy, AL
This multi sports complex consists of a main event floor with arena seating for up to 5900 people and individual suites for an additional 350 seats. The facility also consists of a full size practice court, locker rooms, concession space, business administration space, kitchen space, and storage. The structural system is a mixture of different systems to suit each space. The main event roof consists of long span joist and custom trusses that support a mezzanine and catwalk system. The concourse roof consists of a metal deck over a series of steel beams. The concourse level floor is a wide pan concrete system with one-way beams and slabs, and the seating bowl is precast stadium seating that is supported with cast in place concrete raker beams. The foundation for the Arena is a combination of drilled piers and spread footings tied together with grade beams.

Montevallo Student Activities Center is a multi-function facility that has a gym, handball courts, and a swimming pool. The roof structure is a structural steel frame with open web steel joists and steel deck. Framing for the second floor consists of precast, pre-stressed concrete floor slabs bearing on load bearing concrete masonry units. The approximate cost of this project was $8.9 million dollars .

A complete renovation to the old building was done and a large three story addition to match the historical existing structure was done.
